Adam W. Bayer is a longtime Oldham County resident, dedicated public servant, and homegrown leader with deep roots in the community he proudly calls home. Adam moved to Oldham County in 1978, when his family settled in Hampton Farms near Harrods Creek, where his father and grandfather built their family home. Over the years, he has lived in Crestwood and La Grange, building strong ties throughout the county and serving his neighbors in meaningful ways, including leadership roles in local homeowners associations.
A graduate of Liberty Elementary, Immaculate Conception, and Trinity High School, Adam has spent his life invested in the people and future of Oldham County. His professional experience reflects that same commitment, spanning a range of local roles and employers—from 25 years running his own small business, to time with Torbit and Castleman, to his current role as Oldham County’s sole Code Enforcement Officer, a position he has proudly held for the past five years!
Adam and his wife, Dana, have been married for more than 20 years and have raised their three children in Oldham County Public Schools. Their family is deeply involved in the community, carrying on a legacy of service and connection that runs generations deep. Adam’s parents also played a beloved role in local life as the longtime owners and operators of Serendipity Café on Main Street in La Grange for 15 years.
With a lifetime of experience, a heart for service, and a commitment to representing all residents of Oldham County, Adam Bayer is ready to bring steady leadership and a strong local voice to the office of Oldham County Judge Executive—regardless of political party.
